CHRIS DURSO

Chris Durso is the Senior Associate Pastor at Christ Tabernacle in Queens, NY. He is the creative architect of the misfit movement, a local youth ministry that has had global impact. For 10 years he passionately led the next generation ministries called Misfit NYC. 

Chris with his wife Yahris reside in Long Island with their two children, Dylan and Chloe. 

They are committed to seeking the presence of God and helping others encounter Him. Their passion for bringing the Gospel to all generations is best explained by Romans 12:1-2 (The Message):

 “Take your everyday, ordinary life-- your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life--and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God."
